About Dave King

Dave King Dave King is a talented landscape photographer based in beautiful Litchfield County, Connecticut...

I have developed a strong interest in photography in recent years. It first started out as an excuse to get outside and do some hiking and enjoy the outdoors - even during the winter months. I NEVER went outside much in the winter until I got into photography. Now it is one of my favorite seasons to get out and take photos!

I am primarily interested in landscape photography, but I also dabble in other genres too. Night Sky photography is fun because it is particularly challenging. In order to get a good shot of a Super Moon or the Milky Way you need a lot of elements to come together. Not only do you need the proper equipment, but you also need the right weather, location, time of year, etc. Without all of these elements aligning, the photo will fail.

Since I live in New Milford, Connecticut, many of my photos are taken in the New Milford area and surrounding towns. New Milford is a great town with a strong sense of community and offers a lot of beautiful locations for photography.

My photography was recently featured in an article on Connecticut radio station WRKI-FM's web site titled 'Local Photographer Captures Beautiful Images Around New Milford' and on News 12 Connecticut.
