I captured this image in Sheffield, Massachusetts while traveling to Vermont.
The peaceful, yet vibrant scene caught my attention as I was driving by so I had to circle back to grab the shot.
A solitary wooden bench rests beneath a vibrant maple tree with golden-orange leaves as sunlight filters through, casting dappled shadows on the ground below.
I think it is a lovely and soothing autumn image and I'm thrilled that I was able to be there to capture it at the right place and the right time!
