I trekked through snow up to my knees to capture this image. It was the day following a snowfall so the snow was fresh and untouched. I like the way the top of this chilly scene is washed with warm light from the sun and highlighting the trees. Although it is a photograph, it looks like a painting and is one of my favorites!
