Artist's Description
I was watching the weather report and saw that we would be cooling off after a warm spell. To me, this meant there would be a good chance of morning fog. I got up early the next morning (as I rarely do) and headed to Lake Waramaug. Fortunately my predictions came true!
I arrived at the lake just after sunrise and found some beautiful mist floating on the water. As an added bonus, some geese paddled by as I was shooting!
As you can see, the vibrant autumn foliage of reds, yellows, and greens on the surrounding trees are reflected in the misty water as the geese glide peacefully across the water's surface, adding to the serene atmosphere.
It was a great morning of photography!
