I don't photograph sports much, but I had the opportunity to photograph a weekend of rowing championships on Lake Waramaug in New Preston, Connecticut. Competing in the Regattas were schools from Connecticut Public Schools Rowing Association and the New England Interscholastic Rowing Association.
In this photo, three students are rowing in a blue boat on a calm body of water, with orange buoys floating alongside them. The rowers appear focused and synchronized as they propel the boat forward with their oars.
