Description
I captured this image of the moon as it rose above the flagpole and church steeples of Newtown, CT. Careful planning was required to determine when the moon would be rising over this setting to capture this image. In other words, I had to be in the right place at the right time!
Despite the darkness, you can see colorful foliage in the distance and the foreground as the moon rises over the horizon.
It makes for a very dramatic and beautiful fall image at an iconic location.
