Artist's Description
I was hiking on a trail in Roxbury, CT and as I was returning to my car I came across this series of little cascades just off the side of the road. We had a good rainfall the day before, so the water was flowing strongly.
I love capturing images of moving water like this using a slow shutter speed to highlight the smooth flow of the water coming down from the stream. Adding to the scene are the warm colored rocks and boulders that are a nice contrast to the water. It makes for a very nice relaxing scene.
