I captured this image of the Housatonic River in Kent, CT during the Spring thaw as the water flowed with a strong current through the rocks in the river bed.

This tranquil forest scene features the river surrounded by lush green moss-covered logs and rocks. The serene setting is complemented by a sturdy tree growing near the water's edge, adding depth to the landscape.

I like the way the roots of the tree draw you into the image towards the flowing water in the background.
