Description
This is a close-up photo of a blossom on a Rhododendron bush. I captured this image at a park near my home in early Spring.
After a long, dark New England winter, the bright purple colors blooming were a welcome sight to see! I used a wide aperture when taking the photo to create the blurry background which gives the image a dreamy look.
The blossom is set against a soft, bokeh background that features hints of green and purple hues from surrounding foliage and flowers.
I think this photo really evokes that feeling of Spring!
