I captured this image at the beach in Westerly, Rhode Island just as the sun was setting on the horizon.

This serene beach scene captures the sun setting over a calm ocean, casting a golden hue on the waves and shoreline. Rocks in the foreground are complemented by green plants with purple flowers, adding vibrant color to the tranquil setting.

The Napatree Point Conservation Area is 86 pristine acres of some of the rarest habitats in Rhode Island. It is owned and managed by the Watch Hill Fire District and the Watch Hill Conservancy. It is home to many species of federally and state-listed endangered species, including Piping Plovers, Least Terns, Osprey, and American Oystercatchers.

This image is a classic summer beach scene and I was thrilled to experience it and photograph it.
