I captured this image at Watch Hill Cove in Westerly, Rhode Island.
I was having dinner at a nearby restaurant and began to notice a dramatic sunset forming over the water. I finished my dinner quickly, leaving my dining partner behind and rushed outside to photograph this spectacular scene. She soon joined me to enjoy the view!
The dramatic sky with fiery orange clouds reflects over the serene body of water dotted with several boats. The horizon glows with a hint of the setting sun, creating a tranquil yet striking scene.
